What's the match?

Trent Rockets take on Oval Invincibles in the latest game of the men's Hundred in 2022.

When is it taking place?

The match is scheduled to commence at 7pm BST on Wednesday, August 17.

Where is the match being played?

Trent Bridge is the venue, with this match the second slice of a doubleheader that follows the women's fixture between the same teams.

Who's got the form?

It's an intriguing battle. Identical records sees the sides level on six points after a respective three wins from their opening four fixtures.

It's a swift turnaround for Trent Rockets, who were comprehensively defeated by seven wickets at the hands of Birmingham Phoenix on Monday evening. Andy Flower's Rockets had been in destructive form prior to this, with their own Dawid Malan leading the runs scored column with 203 after just four innings.

For an Oval Invincibles side who have triumphed in their previous three matches, they march to the Midlands full of verve and confidence after Will Jacks' record-breaking 108 from just 48 deliveries against Southern Brave on Sunday.

What's the team news?

Trent Rockets should have a full squad to choose from ahead of their hosting of the Invincibles on Wednesday evening. Rashid Khan continues to be an absentee as he is away with Afghanistan.

Oval Invincibles have been buoyed by the return of Sam Billings and Will Jacks who were temporarily away on international duty with England Lions as they entertained South Africa, and they are likely to start again as they look to climb the table.

What's the key match-up?

Any bowler against Jacks. A man seemingly possessed with ethereal cricketing prowess, Jacks' imperious innings on Sunday should strike fear into any opposing bowler, even more so after the Rockets' Daniel Sams and Lewis Gregory were rocked by Moeen Ali and Liam Livingstone on Monday evening.

But in the yellow of the Rockets lies the formidable Malan.

A slog-fest is on the cards and the integral component to success will be the early removal of Jacks or Malan.

Can I get tickets?

There are limited tickets remaining for this match.

What's the weather forecast?

A tad overcast but dry. It might be a brisk evening with temperatures of 19 degrees forecasted.

What are the squads?
