What's the match?

Manchester Originals take on London Spirit in the men's Hundred Eliminator.

When is it taking place?

The game is due to start at 6.30pm BST on Friday, September 2.

Where is the match being played?

Following on from the women's match, this game will be played as the second of a doubleheader at The Ageas Bowl.

Who's got the form?

These two sides are heading in different directions as we reach the all-important Eliminator.

Manchester Originals started with three successive defeats but have now won five in a row.

That included the critical six-wicket win over Oval Invincibles, chasing their 144 target with a single ball to spare.

London Spirit have struggled after seeing their first-choice overseas players depart.

They began with four straight wins but have won one of the last four to stumble into third in the group.

Eoin Morgan's men did win the regular-season match between the two sides by 52 runs but much has changed since that game in early August.

What's the team news?

Expect few changes from the end of the group stage.

Originals remain without captain Jos Buttler due to a calf problem, but Richard Gleeson is available again after fitness issues. Ollie Robinson is with the England squad ahead of the third Test and is not expected to be released.

London Spirit have Zak Crawley available for the latter stages after he was retained for the Kia Oval Test. Daniel Bell-Drummond is an option to freshen up the batting line-up if required. Mark Wood is a long-term injury victim.

What's the key match-up?

The obvious weakness in the Spirit line-up comes at the top of the order. Adam Rossington has scored his runs at a strike rate of 182 but they need him to hang around and repeat his form from the middle part of the competition when he reeled off scores of 66, 32 and 36.

While the Originals won't have Sean Abbott on hand to bowl to the Essex keeper-batter, having lost the Australian, they do have a useful new ball attack.

Spinner Tom Hartley bowled into the wicket and traditionally bowls in the powerplay, and will be complemented by the pace of the returning Gleeson and Josh Little.

Irishman Josh Little secured the best figures in the men's Hundred against Invincibles, taking 5 for 13 and the extra venom he provides might be key against a vulnerable top-order.

What's the prediction?

Spirit have looked like a shadow of the side that won their opening four games, since losing both Glenn Maxwell and Kieron Pollard. The Originals have won five on the bounce and prevailed in a virtual knock-out game against Oval Invincibles. Expect them to justify the long trip down south.
