England international Mady Villiers also joins the London-based side
Australia Women’s vice-captain Rachael Haynes has joined Oval Invincibles for the inaugural edition of The Hundred.
The 34-year old batsman, who was recently crowned Australia’s ODI player of the year, has 130 white-ball international appearances to her name and over 2,500 runs. Haynes also spent the 2018 season with Loughborough Lightning, averaging 46.28 in 11 T20 appearances, and will captain the Oval-based side.
The other new face in the Invincibles camp is England’s Mady Villiers. The 22-year old spinner has seven wickets in nine T20I matches and is one of the 17 players centrally contracted by the ECB.
Villiers made two appearances for Sunrisers in last season’s Rachael Heyhoe Flint trophy, scoring 76 runs (including a high score of 64) and taking one wicket with an economy of 4.85.

The duo join a line-up boasting England internationals Tash Farrant and Fran Wilson, Scotland star Sarah Bryce and South African all-rounder Dane van Niekerk.
