Trent Bridge: Warwickshire Bears 139, Notts Outlaws 143-7 - Notts Outlaws won by three wickets

Notts Outlaws prevailed by three wickets in a low-scoring thriller in the T20 Blast at Trent Bridge, where Warwickshire Bears were bowled out for 139 in 19.2 overs before the home side scrambled home with just one ball to spare.

Jack Haynes hit three sixes to top score with 36 from 17 balls, Scotland international George Munsey hit 27 from 30 and South African George Linde 29 from 25, including the winning boundary, off-spinner Rob Yates having given the Bears a chance by taking four for 22.

Kai Smith's 34 from 28 deliveries represented the top score for the Bears in the face of a strong Outlaws performance with the ball, led by Pakistan seamer Mohammad Ali's 3 for 27.

Hove: Sussex Sharks 179, Leicestershire Foxes 180-6 - Leicestershire won by four wickets

An unbeaten half-century by Australian all-rounder Ashton Turner - the 20th of his T20 career - eased Leicestershire Foxes to a four-wicket victory against Sussex Sharks in the Blast at Hove.

Both teams had won just once in five games, and Sussex squandered another good start when they were bowled out for 179 despite an opening stand of 98 in nine overs by Harrison Ward and Dan Hughes.

Leicestershire lost wickets regularly in the first half of their reply, and the game was in the balance at 118 for five in the 13th over.

But Turner and skipper Ben Green plundered 41 from 20 balls to break the back of the chase, and Turner sealed victory with 14 deliveries to spare. His 57 off 28 balls included six fours and three sixes and was his second in this season's competition.

New Road: Worcestershire Rapids 168-8, Glamorgan 141 - Worcestershire Rapids won by 27 runs

Worcestershire Rapids made it three T20 Blast wins out of four with a 27-run victory over Glamorgan at New Road.

Adam Hose (50) and Isaac Mohammed (30) lifted Rapids to 168 for 8 against a well-directed attack led by Tim van der Gugten (1 for 21) and Andy Gorvin (3 for 34).

It was a modest total, but too many for a Glamorgan side forced to bat for the most part in Stygian gloom.

Having lost Asa Tribe and Mason Crane to England Lions duty from the team which beat Somerset at Taunton the previous night, Glamorgan came in well short at 141 all out from 19.3 overs.

Kiran Carlson made 35, but wickets fell regularly as new batters coming in struggled to locate the ball. Sikandar Raza took 4 for 17.

Bristol: Somerset 137-8, Gloucestershire 138-3 - Gloucestershire won by seven wickets

D'Arcy Short posted a blistering half-century as Gloucestershire beat holders Somerset by seven wickets in a one-sided T20 Blast contest at Bristol.

Overseas star Short smashed 63 from 34 balls and hit three sixes and eight fours to help Gloucestershire chase down a victory target of 138 with 5.5 overs to spare and consign Somerset to a third straight defeat in the Central and West Group.

Gloucestershire won the toss and restricted their neighbours to 137 for 8, Marchant de Lange, Duan Jansen, and Matt Taylor taking two wickets apiece to spearhead a near-flawless performance in the field. Lewis Gregory top-scored for Somerset, raising 33 in 28 balls.

Headingley: Yorkshire 213-7, Lancashire Lightning 107 - Yorkshire by 106 runs

Captain Jonny Bairstow's superb 73 and then a devastating powerplay with the ball helped high-flying Yorkshire consign Lancashire Lightning to a record 106-run T20 Blast defeat at Headingley.

Yorkshire strengthened their position at the top of the North Group with a fourth win in five, having posted 213 for 7 thanks largely to opener Bairstow's four sixes in 44 balls. He shared a second-wicket 105 with Will Luxton.

Pakistani overseas pair Hassan Ali and Faheem Ashraf, alongside Moeen Ali, then struck inside the first four overs of a Lightning chase, which slumped to 27 for 3 and finished with them bowled out for 107 inside 15 overs. This was their heaviest ever runs defeat in T20.

Moeen's off-spin returned a superb 3 for 16 from his four overs, while Jafer Chohan was excellent with his leg-spin for 4 for 17. Liam Livingstone top-scored with a consolatory 44 off 30 for Lancashire. They have now lost three from four.
