Both seamers are reserves in England’s squad for their T20I series against Pakistan, but have not featured in the first two matches
Pat Brown and Reece Topley have been released from England’s bio-secure bubble to play for their counties in the T20 Blast.
Both seamers are reserves in England’s squad for their T20I series against Pakistan, but have not featured in the first two matches.
Brown has returned to Worcestershire’s line-up for their clash on Monday with Gloucestershire, while Topley will play for Surrey, his new county, against Kent on Tuesday.
Both clubs have suffered in their absence; Surrey have been depleted, missing several players for differing reasons.
Worcestershire, who were runners-up in the T20 Blast last year and won the competition in 2018, have been missing both Brown and Moeen Ali, with Ed Barnard captaining the T20 side in the latter’s absence.
