The 21-year-old will move to The Kia Oval for the 2020 campaign as one of two overseas players
Pakistan's Shadab Khan has joined Surrey for next season's T20 Blast.
The 21-year-old leg-spinner has played 35 T20Is for his country, taking 46 wickets at 20.06.
Shadab has also played five Tests and 43 one-day internationals for Pakistan and featured seven times in the recent 50-over World Cup.
His experience in franchise cricket has seen him represent Islamabad United in the PSL, Trinbago Knight Riders and Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League as well as Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash.
"I’ve been waiting for this opportunity to play county cricket for a long time and T20 cricket at The Kia Oval is a great place to start," he said.
"I’m honoured to be following in the footsteps of some great Pakistan cricketers and will do my best to make both my new team and the Surrey fans proud."
Director of cricket Alec Stewart added: "Shadab is one of the most exciting spin bowlers in world cricket and we look forward to seeing him perform for Surrey next year."
The arrival of Shadab is the latest addition made by Surrey during the current off-season, following confirmation of the signing of Australia seamer Michael Neser for the first half of the County Championship season.
