Richard Johnson has joined Surrey as assistant coach.
The 43-year-old former England international has signed a three-year contract at The Oval and will work with the club's bowlers.
Johnson was previously on the books of Middlesex, with whom he won the County Championship in 2016, and presided over four games as interim head coach earlier this year.
"Surrey are one of the biggest clubs in the country and proved their strength by winning the County Championship this year," he said.

"This is an excellent chance to be part of something exciting moving forward with a high quality group of players both senior and younger.
"There are plenty of people already at the club that I know well and I can’t wait to get in to the Kia Oval to start work later this month."
Johnson's arrival will not affect Geoff Arnold's role as bowling consultant.
