Thando Ntini is signed by Paarl Rocks for the second edition of the South Africa T20 tournament starting in November
Makhaya Ntini's son Thando Ntini will play in this year's Mzansi Super League after being signed by Paarl Rocks for the second edition of the South African T20 tournament.
The right-arm seamer, who has represented The Proteas at Under-19 level, was acquired during the wild-card draw for the franchise competition.
Ntini Jr qualified for the draw after representing Western Province, while he has also turned out for the South Africa Emerging Team earlier this year against Sri Lanka.
"Thank you so much for this lovely opportunity, it's a dream come true," Ntini said on Instagram.

"I would like to dedicate this special moment to my family, coaches, close friends and all the people at Western Province for making me the person and cricketer I am today.
"The journey only gets better from here. And a special mention to Siya Sibiya [South Africa Under-19 assistant coach] who has always believed and pushed me to be the better version of myself."
He joins a star-studded Rocks squad including Far du Plessis, JP Duminy, Hardus Viljoen and Aiden Markram.
The Mzansi Super League kicks off on November 8 and runs until December 2016.
