The England seamer will remain at Taunton until at least 2023 after putting pen-to-paper on fresh terms
Somerset have secured the services of seamer Craig Overton for another three years.
The England international, who made his debut for the club in April 2012, has penned fresh terms to extend his spell to at least 2023.
Overton, who has played four Tests for his country, has taken 379 wickets in eight years across all formats for Somerset.
The news comes a week after the announcement that his brother Jamie will join Surrey from the start of next season.
"I’m obviously delighted to have signed a new contract with my home club," the 26-year-old said. "The dream was always to play for Somerset and win trophies with the club.
"The success that we had last year has given me that extra drive to go on and win that elusive Championship that we all want.
"I feel very settled here, it’s close to home, the squad that we’ve got is so good and I feel like I’m in a really good place at the moment.
"The members and supporters are a massive part of this Club and they help us so much as a side. The support that we get in all formats is amazing, so hopefully, we can keep winning games for them."
Director of cricket Andy Hurry added: "His contributions both on and off the field continue to add real value to the Club and it has been a genuine pleasure to see him blossom since he made his first-class debut as an 18-year-old.
"We look forward to him continuing to pull on the Wyvern and being a match-winner for Somerset for the foreseeable future."
