Fresh from scoring 317 in Pakistan, England's Harry Brook will wield a new Gray-Nicolls bat in 2025 and it's on sale in November
Gray-Nicolls has revealed the new Stratos bat for 2025 as used by England batsman Harry Brook.
The bat manufacturer has revealed six new bats for 2025 and Harry Brook, fresh off a stunning innings of 317 against Pakistan, has made his choice in the shape of the new 2025 Stratos bat.
The bat comes with an enlarged sweet spot and a classic rounded toe. The modern long sweeping bow shape is designed for full confidence with shots, providing power and balance at the crease.
It uses a Traction Pro high performance grip and the semi-rounded face is designed to deliver optimum ping.
Brooks has enjoyed a lucrative partnership with Gray-Nicolls so far, quickly smashing his first hundred with the new bat against Pakistan. It did not stop there however, as he went on to become the first England batsman to hit a triple century in 34 years in October.
More cricket bat reviews:
As introductions of new bats go it is one of the best and it means the Stratos will be in high demand with those who want to go into 2025 as a big hitter.
The Stratos bat will also be used by Ollie Pope of England next year and the bat, alongside three other new releases, will go on sale in November here.
All Gray-Nicolls bats are made by hand in factories in the UK, India and Australia and as a result each is unique. The rest of the 2025 range includes the Gray-Nicolls Neocore bat, which is 2-3 ounces lighter than the previous version and has improved torsional stability and thicker shoulders.
The Stratos and Neocore are joined in the 2025 range by the Classic, the Gem 1.2, the Ventus 1.0 and the Ventus 1.3. You can see all of the new bats here.
Gray-Nicolls has also revealed the first look at its range of travel bags for 2025. They will also go on sale in November, with exact dates yet to be revealed by the brand.
