Lahore: Peshwar Zalmi 193-6, Karachi Kings 138-6 - Peshawar Zalmi won by 55 runs
Karachi Kings' miserable Pakistan Super League campaign continued as they were walloped by 55 runs by Peshawar Zalmi.
The Kings have still not tasted victory in the 2022 PSL season, and they never looked like running second-from-bottom Zalmi close in this encounter.
Bowling first, Karachi shipped 193 for 6, with Peshawar openers Hazratullah Zazai and Mohammad Haris enjoying themselves at the crease.

The pair put on 97 for the first wicket in 10 overs to lay the perfect foundation for a significant score, and from that moment on the Kings' race was run.
Zazai top scored with 52 from 42 balls, and Haris made 49 from 27, while middle-order fireworks from Shoaib Malik and Ben Cutting took Zalmi to their imposing total.
In reply, Babar Azam made a half-century but Karachi always struggled with the required rate.
Joe Clarke laboured over a 26-ball 26, and the Kings found themselves well short at the end of their 20 overs despite only losing six wickets.
Salman Irshad (2-24) and Wahab Riaz (2-26) were the pick of the Peshawar bowlers.
