Mohammad Rizwan smashes a maiden PSL century as the 2021 champions win again following a dramatic final to leave Kings fourth in the table with four defeats from five
Multan: Multan Sultans 196-2, Karachi Kings 193-5 - Multan Sultans won by three runs
Multan Sultans remain the team to beat in the Pakistan Super League after claiming a fourth victory in a row in dramatic circumstances over Karachi Kings.
Captain Mohammad Rizwan crushed a maiden century in the competition, his second in T20s, with an unbeaten 110 from just 64 deliveries.
Shan Masood (51) helped put on an opening stand worth 85 before Rilee Rossouw (29) arrived for a second-wicket partnership worth 109 as Sultans made 196 for 2 from their 20 overs.
Though Sultans missed out on surpassing 200, Kings needed their second-biggest score to win a PSL match.

They started well with Carlos Brathwaite dispatched for 19 in the second over and Mohammad Ilyas being smashed for 14 in the next.
Matthew Wade (20) and James Vince (75) put on 62 in the powerplay and though both departed before the mid-way point in the innings they were well ahead of the required rate.
But they were pegged back in the second half of the reply. Just 18 runs were scored from overs 10 and 13, bowled between Khushdil Shah, Ihsaunallah and Usama Mir, and the latter pair returned for overs 15 and 16 - just nine runs were scored - to leave Kings needing 57 from 24 balls.

Hope was restored when Ilyas' nine-ball 19th over went for two sixes and saw Imad Wasim (38 not out) dropped by the bowler.
Abbas Afridi started the final over with a no-ball six to Wasim, before Ben Cutting reduced the equation to seven off four with the 18th maximum of the match.
More ill-discipline would follow before a slower ball from Abbas captured the wicket of Cutting (12) before two length deliveries secured the narrowest of victories by three runs.
