Lahore: Multan Sultans 182-7, Peshawar Zalmi 140 - Multan Sultans won by 42 runs
Shan Masood's fine Pakistan Super League form continued as Multan Sultans crushed Peshawar Zalmi by 42 runs in Lahore.
Masood, recently recalled to the Pakistan national squad, hit 68 from 49 balls to set the tone as Multan posted 182 for 7 from their 20 overs.
The Sultans completed their sixth victory in six outings in this year's PSL, as Zalmi struggled to 140 all out in reply.
Masood was supported by Mohammad Rizwan and Tim David, who both made 34 as the Sultans continued to exude power and class with the bat.

An opening stand worth 98 between Masood and Rizwan set the perfect platform, while David's flashbang innings came from just 18 balls and included three sixes and two fours.
In response, Peshawar limped to 5 for 2 from the first two overs and - Shoaib Malik aside - no one established any kind of rhythm.
Zimbabwean seamer Blessing Muzurabani was the pick of the bowlers, with 3 for 18 from his four overs, while Khushdil Shah's impressive campaign with the ball continued as the allrounder's left-arm spin claimed 3 for 26 from 3.3 overs.
Multan become the first team to confirm their place in the PSL play-offs.
Masood said: "As a player I just try and follow the process. I have been a bit clearer in my thought process while batting and all I am trying to do is to take it a ball at a time and react to each ball.
"I am just following the processes and I am pleased that it is working out well for me and helping me contribute to the team's success."
