Jason Roy's 49-ball century helped Quetta Gladiators to an emphatic victory over Lahore Qalandars.

Roy smacked 116 from just 57 balls a matter of hours after emerging from quarantine following his arrival from England's T20 tour of the Caribbean to propel Quetta to a seven-wicket win in a mammoth chase of 205.

Earlier, Lahore looked well poised at the interval as Fakhar Zaman continued his rich vein of form with the bat, and Harry Brook showed a glimpse of his potential.

Fakhar cracked 70 in 45 balls and Brook added 41 not out from just 17 as the Qalandars reached 204 for 5 from their 20 overs in Karachi's National Stadium.

The final game before the Pakistan Super League ups sticks for Lahore went the Gladiators' way, however, thanks in the main to Roy.

After losing opening partner Ahsan Ali cheaply, he combined with compatriot James Vince in a second-wicket partnership worth 96 in 9.6 overs. 

When he was eventually ought, caught by Hasan Rauf off the bowling of David Wiese, there were still 4.2 overs remaining.

That allowed Quetta to reach their target with three balls to spare, a quite phenomenal chase.
