What is it?

New Zealand host England in a three-match women's ODI series, following the five T20Is.

What is the schedule?

Sunday, March 31: 1st ODI - Basin Reserve, Wellington - (11pm BST/11am local time)

Wednesday, April 3: 2nd ODI - Sedden Park, Hamilton - (11pm BST/11am local time)

Saturday, April 6: 3rd ODI - Sedden Park, Hamilton- (11pm BST/11am local time)

Who is in form?

England will undoubtedly start as favourite to complete back-to-back series victories after dominating the T20s.

Heather Knight's side ran out comfortable 4-1 winners and but for a botch run-chase in the third game in Nelson would likely have claimed a whitewash.

The tourists have certainly had the best of the recent 50-over meetings between the nations, winning seven of the last nine since 2021 including each of the last three.

Their last meeting was the dramatic one-wicket victory for England at New Zealand's home World Cup just over two years ago.

The White Ferns have an encouraging recent home record to fall back on, however, having won their last three home ODI series against Pakistan, Bangladesh and India.

They will be hoping to capitalise on an England side whose 50-over cricket has been inconsistent of late. They overcame Sri Lanka and Australia last summer but were beaten handsomely by India in 2022.

The series is part of the ongoing ICC Women's Championship which provides passage to next year's World Cup. New Zealand sit fourth in the table, while England are fifth; both are within touching distance of booking their place in India.

Who is involved?

Both squads are unchanged from the end of the T20I series.

New Zealand added Georgia Plimmer to the 20-over group first as Sophie Devine remained at the WPL, and then as the skipper suffered a quad injury. As originally scheduled, she remains for the ODIs.

Devine missed the fifth T20I with an injury described as a grade one strain which New Zealand Cricket have stated "would require a short period of rehabilitation".

England are without spinner Sarah Glenn for at least the first two ODIs as she recovers from a concussion.

Currently adhering to the ECB's return-to-play protocols, she is not available to return until the third game in Hamilton on April 7 at the earliest. A replacement has not yet been called up though Linsey Smith, now back with the A group, is available if required.

New Zealand squad: Sophie Devine, Suzie Bates, Bernadine Bezuidenhout, Eden Carson, Izzy Gaze, Maddy Green, Brooke Halliday, Fran Jonas, Leigh Kasperek, Amelia Kerr, Jess Kerr, Rosemary Mair, Georgia Plimmer, Hannah Rowe, Lea Tahuhu

England squad: Tammy Beaumont, Lauren Bell, Maia Bouchier, Alice Capsey, Kate Cross, Charlie Dean, Sophia Dunkley, Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Filer, Danielle Gibson, Sarah Glenn, Bess Heath, Amy Jones, Heather Knight (capt), Nat Sciver-Brunt, Danni Wyatt

What is the weather forecast?

After some inclement weather on Saturday, conditions are expected to clear for the first ODI in Wellington, with temperatures sitting at around 14 degrees Celcius.

It is expected to be slightly warmer in Hamilton for the second and third matches but should remain dry, ensuring there are no interruptions.

Where to watch?

TNT Sports have been confirmed as the UK broadcasters for the entire tour. The matches can also be streamed via the Discovery+ app.

Television New Zealand (TVNZ) has the broadcast rights for all of New Zealand's home internationals (men's and women's) until 2026. The series will be shown on Channel 1.
