No where in all of the above formats are financial considerations on the smaller (non test venue) counties given apparent consideration. Like it or not receipts from a single Blast game can cover the costs of staging a few championship games. You want to get the most competitive and attractive structure across all formats (CC, Blast, Metro, Hundred etc) but please also ensure you consider the financial impacts on the counties with more straightened financial resources - otherwise all you end ups doing is making the bigger get richer at the expense of the other counties. And before anyone suggests this is a great idea don't forget our test playing squad is derived from all (inc the smaller) counties - Just look at the fantastic work Leicestershire are doing now (and I'm not a Leics supporter or member)
