Killeen joins head coach Darren Lehmann and will work with the likes of Ben Stokes, Adil Rashid and David Willey at the Hundred side based at Headingley
Durham coach Neil Killeen will join Northern Superchargers for The Hundred.
Durham assistant and bowling coach Killeen, who has been heavily involved in the coaching setup at the Riverside Ground for a number of years and has also coached England U19s, will work under former Australia head coach Darren Lehmann for the Superchargers.
The 43-year-old former seamer was part of the Durham side that won the Friends Provident Trophy at Lord's in 2007, before retiring from playing in 2010.
England and Durham leading light Ben Stokes is one of those already signed up for the side based at Headingley, alongside Yorkshire allrounders Adil Rashid and David Willey.
Killeen said: “I am really excited to join the Northern Superchargers coaching team and am looking forward to working alongside Darren Lehmann and the other coaches.
“It’s an exciting new concept that will give me the opportunity to work with some of the world’s best players.
“I look forward to the challenge this will bring and can’t wait to get started.”
