The former Pakistan international and two accomplices are punished after attempts to influence matches in 2016 and 2017
Former Pakistan Test batsman Nasir Jamshed has been jailed for 17 months for committing two counts of bribery.
The charges relate to matches in the Bangladesh Premier League in 2016 and the Pakistan Super League in 2017.
Accomplices Yousef Anwar and Mohammed Ijaz have also been imprisoned for the same period, with the trio all originally held as part of a National Crime Agency investigation into spot-fixing.
The sentencing took place at Manchester Crown Court.
Jamshed and the duo pleaded guilty to the allegations in December 2019, a year after they were officially charged. The former Lahore Lions left-hander had previously insisted he was innocent.
The specific fix surrounded batsman agreeing not to score runs from the first two deliveries of a T20 match. Jamshed was initially the target while playing in the BPL before he helped influence others in the PSL.
Thirty-year-old Jamshed played two Tests, 48 ODIs and 18 T20s for Pakistan across a seven-year international career.
In August 2018, he was banned for 10 years by the PCB after being named as a "lynchpin" in the case, which had followed a year-long ban for failing to co-operate with a prior investigation.
