Organisers of the Lanka Premier League have confirmed that the competition will start on November 26.
The competition, which includes five teams, was originally meant to begin on November 14, but has since been pushed back.
All five teams participated in a player draft. Scheduled for October 1, it was pushed back to October 9 before taking place on October 19.
Carlos Brathwaite, Samit Patel, Chris Gayle and Liam Plunkett are among the overseas names in the competition.
Tournament organisers have managed to relax the rules for those playing in the Lanka Premier League. Overseas players must quarantine for seven days before training in the biosecure bubble. Broadcasters and support teams must quarantine for 14 days.
All 23 matches, including the final on December 16, will be played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota. Colombo Kings will face Kandy Tuskers in the opening match.
