Fast bowler Tymal Mills ruled out of Big Bash with hamstring injury

Mills missed their opening match against the Brisbane Heat on Saturday after suffering a recurrence of a hamstring injury during a warm-up match

The Hobart Hurricanes are going to be without fast bowler Tymal Mills for the rest of the Big Bash after the England international picked up a hamstring injury.

Mills missed their opening match against the Brisbane Heat on Saturday after suffering a recurrence of a hamstring injury during a warm-up match.

Despite Mills absence, The Hurricanes won the match by 15 runs, and now are on the look for a replacement overseas player.

BIG BASH SQUADS

The Sussex fast bowler sits at No.122 in the T20 Player Index, having taken 73 wickets over the past three years.

Coach Adam Griffith said: "This comes at a really unfortunate time for Tymal. He was bowling well and feeling really good as a result of playing cricket throughout the year leading up to the Big Bash season."
