Cricket matches around the country will pause on Saturday (April 17) afternoon to coincide with the funeral of HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, the ECB has announced.
The Duke of Edinburgh passed away on Friday (April 9) at the age of 99 and his funeral is due to take place at St George’s Chapel at 3pm next weekend.

Recreational clubs across England and Wales are also encouraged to pause play between 3pm and 4pm alongside observing a minute’s silence at 3pm.
