England endured another error-strewn day in the field as Australia took firm control of the fifth Test on day three at Sydney.

They took the number of opportunities put down in this series to 16 as the hosts cruised into a 134-run lead with three first-innings wickets remaining.

The worst came during the morning session when Jacks, close to the boundary rope, put down a chance to remove centurion Travis Head on 121.
