Welsh Fire have confirmed a trio of world-class Australians on their roster for the inaugural edition of The Hundred.
Meg Lanning, Beth Mooney and Jess Jonassen will all join the Cardiff-based side for the competition, which is due to launch in July.
Lanning, the Australia national captain, will offer clout at the top of the order. The 28-year-old averages 36.18 in T20 internationals with a strike rate over 115.
Her, Mooney and Jonassen were all due to join Fire for the 2020 competition before it was postponed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Bryony Smith will also turn out for the side in 2021.
Smith - capped four times by England - was also in the original Welsh Fire squad prior to the delay to the tournament.
