Barbados: USA 128, West Indies 130-1 - West Indies won by nine wickets
A complete bowling performance and a stunning 82 not out from Shai Hope secured West Indies their first Super 8s win by nine wickets over the USA in Barbados.
The USA could only muster 128 as they were bowled out with a ball remaining in their innings which West Indies brutally chased in just under 11 overs.
It was a professional performance in the field from the West Indies to bowl the USA out for just 128. Three wickets apiece for Roston Chase (3 for 19) and Andre Russell (3 for 31) were the highlights with the ball while Alzarri Joseph (2 for 31), Gudakesh Motie (1 for 14), who also got a run out, were the other wicket takers.

For the USA, Andries Gous (29) and Nitish Kumar (20) both made starts but failed to kick on and the rest of the line up could not stop the constant flow of wickets. Aaron Jones (11) returned to his home ground and smashed a huge six off the bowling of Joseph before being bowled by Chase.

Shai Hope, who replaced the injured Brandon King, got his team off to the perfect start as he scored 42 of the 58 runs that the West Indies managed in their batting powerplay.
Johnson Charles (15 off 14) was the only batter to fall as he hit Harmeet Singh to Milind Kumar on the boundary to take the score to 67 for 1 after seven overs.
