All-rounder Gulbadin Naib caused controversy in the Super 8s, but Afghanistan have a shot at glory in the Caribbean
Gulbadin Naib was the centre of attention on Tuesday as Afghanistan secured a historic semi-final place in the 2024 T20 World Cup.
The all-rounder was accused of "exaggerating an injury" as his side secured the win over Bangladesh.
Afghanistan now face South Africa on Thursday morning (1.30am BST) for a place in the final against either India or holders England on Saturday, June 29 in Barbados.

The controversial moment came when, in the 12th over, wrote Nick Howson for The Cricketer "Rain began to fall again. Jonathan Trott, by now living every delivery leaning on the advertising hoardings, urged Afghanistan to take things slowly to allow conditions to take hold."
"It was at this moment that Gulbadin Naib, aware of the journey of this nation better than almost anyone, clutched his hamstring and went to the ground.
"A physical specimen as he is, Gulbadin would later deliver two crucial overs, remove Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and lead the celebrations at the end."
