Rashid Khan had to be helped from the field during the closing stages of Afghanistan's six-wicket defeat against Sri Lanka after appearing to injure his knee while fielding.
In what would prove to be the final over of the match, the allrounder raced across the outfield from deep midwicket in an attempt to cut off a boundary from Dhananjaya de Silva but dug his knee into the ground during his dive.
He did end up saving two runs but stayed on the ground in considerable discomfort and later left the field, quite gingerly, with the assistance of two members of Afghanistan's backroom staff.

"He's been looked at. I think he just jarred his knee," said head coach, Jonathan Trott. "He had a bit of a back issue coming into the World Cup, so that's just flared up again.
"We don't know [if he's ok] but hopefully no serious injuries."
The Gabba's sandy surface is notorious for fielding injuries, with England's Simon Jones, who ruptured an anterior cruciate ligament during the 2002/03 Ashes, among its victims.
Khan had earlier taken 2 for 31 with the ball and contributed nine runs with the bat.
Afghanistan's defeat means they cannot qualify for the semi-finals and must beat Australia in Adelaide on November 4 to avoid a winless tournament.
