The Cricketer will be supporting both England and Australia this summer, via a cross-platform campaign promoting Cricket 19 - the official game of the Ashes

Developed by Big Ant Studios in Australia and published by Maximum Games, Cricket 19 is fully licenced by both the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Cricket Australia (CA), and will be released just in time for the World Cup.

This cross-platform promotional campaign includes a homepage takeover during the World Cup, digital advertising and innovative social media and editorial coverage.

Maximum Games will benefit from endorsement of The Cricketer brand and take advantage of our growing traffic and readership ahead of this huge summer of cricket.

Huge improvements in the AI engine has made the game even more realistic while the game will also be available on Nintendo Switch, meaning for the first time you can play a fully operational cricket game on the go.

This will certainly appeal to our youthful digital audience, while a game review in the magazine, along with premium advertising throughout the summer, means Cricket 19 will also be promoted to our more mature, affluent print audience.
