Flower led Lucknow to top-four finishes in their first two years in the competition, but his contract was not renewed
Justin Langer has taken his first head coach job since leaving his role with Australia.
Langer has replaced Andy Flower as head coach at Indian Premier League franchise Lucknow Super Giants.
Flower led Lucknow to top-four finishes in their first two years in the competition, but his contract was not renewed.
Instead, they have turned to Langer, who won the Big Bash three times with Perth Scorchers and won the T20 World Cup with Australia. He resigned as his country's head coach early in 2022.

"Lucknow Super Giants are on the journey of building a great story in the IPL," said Langer in a statement released by Super Giants.
"We all have a role to play in that journey and I am excited to be a part of the team moving forward."
Lucknow had earlier on Friday released a statement, thanking Flower "for everything". The former England head coach is currently working with Australia as a consultant through the Ashes.
