Leicestershire have appointed Karen Rothery as their new chief executive, after Wasim Khan left the county in June 2018.
Khan left the role to become the new managing director of the Pakistan Cricket Board, and his replacement will take over in late April.
Rothery grew up in Leicestershire and has a decade worth of experience working in senior sports management roles.

She said: "I'm really pleased to be joining Leicestershire County Cricket Club and I’m looking forward to working with the staff and Board at Grace Road, as well as meeting the members and fans."
Leicestershire chairman, Paul Haywood added: "We are extremely pleased that Karen has accepted the position of chief executive officer at the club.
"Karen was the outstanding applicant with proven leadership and experience in the key areas of commercial, community and sport, which is what the club require at the present time.
"Karen has overseen large commercial operations and has had an important role in developing community relations in a number of different sports.”
