Bailey enjoyed an incredible 2018 County Championship, completely at odds with the fortunes of his county, and finished up winning the PCA Championship Player of the Year award
Lancashire fast bowler Tom Bailey has extended his contract with the county, keeping him at the contract at Old Trafford until at least the end of the 2021 season.
Bailey enjoyed an incredible 2018 County Championship, completely at odds with the fortunes of his county, and finished up winning the PCA Championship Player of the Year award.
He was the leading wicket-taker in Division One, taking 64 wickets across all 14 of the Red Rose's matches at an average of 19.65, but it was not enough to stop the county being relegated to Division Two.
The 27-year-old said: "I'm delighted to have signed a contract extension with the Club I have represented my whole career.

“I am extremely grateful to Lancashire for all their help, support and development they’ve given me since I joined the professional set-up. I have grown up through the Club's system and playing for the Red Rose means everything to me.
“From a personal point of view, I was delighted with how I performed in last year’s Specsavers County Championship and I’ll be looking to improve on that again next year. Emirates Old Trafford is a special place to play cricket and I’m already looking forward to the new season after another winter of hard work."
Lancashire Head Coach Glen Chapple, added: “We’re delighted that Tom has committed his future to the Club. His performances in last year’s Specsavers County Championship were outstanding and it is important he backs that up in 2019."
