Platinum quartet James Vince, Jason Roy, Chris Jordan and Liam Livingstone were among the English players to earn contacts for the 2022 Pakistan Super League
Fifteen English players have secured contracts for the 2022 Pakistan Super League.
Six players – Alex Hales (Islamabad United), Joe Clarke (Karachi Kings), Liam Livingstone, Saqib Mahmood, Tom Kohler-Cadmore (all Peshawar Zalmi), and James Vince (Quetta Gladiators) – were retained by their respective franchises on December 10, with the remaining players picked up in the draft on December 12.
Pace bowler Chris Jordan and opening batter Jason Roy joined Livingstone and Vince in the platinum category, signing for Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators, respectively, while Somerset allrounder Lewis Gregory earned a gold contract with the Kings. He has previously represented Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United in the competition.

Karachi Kings have selected the most English players, with Tom Abell (silver) joining Jordan, Clarke and Gregory, while Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators have three apiece.
Phil Salt, Harry Brook (both gold) and Samit Patel (supplementary) will pull on Qalandars green after securing contracts in the draft while Nottinghamshire wicketkeeper-batter Ben Duckett will join Vince and Roy at the Gladiators.
Fast bowler Reece Topley is one of two English players at Islamabad United, alongside Hales.
Defending champions Multan Sultans did not retain or select any English players.
The 2022 Pakistan Super League gets underway on January 27, 2022 when Karachi Kings host Multan Sultans in Karachi.
