The Bangalore Mirror claims Vettori and members of his backroom team have been sacked by the franchise's owners Diageo
RCB have parted company with Daniel Vettori, right, an Indian media report claims
Daniel Vettori has been removed as the head coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore, according to a report in the Indian media.
The Bangalore Mirror claims Vettori and members of his backroom team have been sacked by the franchise's owners United Spirits Limited, of which drinks giant Diageo holds a controlling stake.
RCB won just six of their 14 matches in the 2018 Indian Premier League, despite their ranks being packed with some of the world's best short-form players.
They finished the campaign in sixth place.
Batting and fielding coach Trent Woodhill and bowling coach Andrew McDonald have also been given their marching orders by RCB, the Bangalore Mirror says.
