The Australia allrounder will continue his recovery from a hip problem with Delhi Capitals after being confirmed to miss the rest of the one-day internationals and the one-off T20I
Mitch Marsh has been ruled out of the remainder of Australia's white-ball matches in Pakistan with a hip problem but will join up with Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League to continue his recovery.
The player of the match from the T20 World Cup final picked up a hip injury during training before the first ODI and will play no part in the three remaining matches.
Marsh will miss the second and third games of the 50-over series as well as the stand-alone T20, all scheduled to take place in Lahore.
He will leave the group and travel to the IPL to join up with the Capitals, coached by Ricky Ponting, to start his quarantine early while he manages the injury.
"Being able to focus on my recovery without the travel and isolation break is the best approach," he said.
"I am disappointed to miss the Pakistan series but look forward to re-joining the Australian squad for our next tour."
A Cricket Australia statement confirming the logistics, added: "Marsh will travel to India to link with the Delhi Capitals squad where former Australian and current New South Wales physiotherapist Pat Farhart will manage his recovery following an isolation period."

Capitals will be eagerly hoping Marsh can recover in double-quick time to be available ahead of schedule.
Marsh was due to miss at least the first three matches due to his Australia duties but their lack of overseas players makes his arrival is a welcome boost for the 2020 runners-up.
This is not the first time the 30-year-old's IPL participation has been up in the air.
He missed almost all of the 2020 tournament after picking up an ankle injury and skipped last year's event due to bubble fatigue.
Anrich Nortje has also joined up with Capitals after being cleared to continue his recovery, with Farhart set to determine when he is available to return to action.
Capitals are also without David Warner - who has returned to Australia following the Pakistan Tests - Lungi Ngidi and Mustafizur Rahman from their overseas ranks.
