Lucknow Super Giants take on Mumbai Indians in the 2023 Indian Premier League Eliminator.
The match is scheduled to start at 7.30pm local time (3pm BST) on Wednesday, May 24.
The match will be held at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The two sides approach the Eliminator in similar form having both won three of their last five matches. LSG secured third in the IPL table after beating the Kolkata Knight Riders by just a single run in their previous match.
An explosive innings of 58 including five sixes from Nicholas Pooran proved decisive in securing victory.
Mumbai Indians sealed their fourth-place finish with an emphatic eight-wicket victory over the Sunrisers Hyderabad. A vital century from Cameron Green (100 from 47) meant the Sunrisers were left at the foot of the table following another disappointing season.
Green has had a dominant IPL so far with his maiden century of the season moving his average for the year up to 54.43.
LSG will be looking for a response from their Australian allrounder Marcus Stoinis who was dismissed for a duck last time out. The Australian has been in a rich vein of form over the tournament having collected 368 runs at an average of 30.67.
The Eliminator will be a repeat of the same fixture between the sides that took place just over one week ago. LSG successfully defended a total of 177 to win by five runs and will be desperate to secure a repeat of the result.

LSG captain KL Rahul remains sidelined with a thigh injury but neither side has any new injury concerns that will impact selection.
West Indian Kyle Mayers has been a key contributor for Mumbai Indians but has not featured since May 13. With the MI batting line-up looking to have finally settled, it will be interesting to see whether he is selected.
Mumbai Indians have finally settled on an explosive batting line-up that will likely prove tough for the LSG bowlers to contain. Suryakumar Yadav has scored freely and consistently throughout the 2023 season, scoring 511 runs at an average of 42.58.
In addition, Yadav has struck 24 sixes in the tournament this year, making him a daunting prospect ahead of this knockout match.
Along with Yadav, batters Ishan Kishan and Cameron Green are averaging 31.36 and 54.43 respectively will offer ample firepower.
LSG will be hoping their young leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi can contain MI's batters who will be desperate to advance in the competition following their disappointing last place in the 2022 edition.
The 22-year-old has had his most successful IPL season to date having picked up 16 wickets at a career-best average of 22.56 when having played over 10 matches. His economic bowling will be vital as the LSG aim to limit the run rate of their opponents and avoid a second successive eliminator defeat.

Mumbai Indians are favourites with the bookmakers at 4/6 while LSG are the rank outsiders at 6/5.
Both sides look very evenly matched on paper, however, the pure destruction that the Mumbai Indians' batting line-up is capable of should be enough to get them over the line.
