The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the Indian Premier League final on May 29, the BCCI has confirmed.

The venue will also stage the second qualifier match of the knockout rounds, with Eden Gardens in Kolkata hosting the first qualifier and eliminator.

The BCCI also announced that the three games would have 100 per cent capacity for fans, marking the first time in two years that stadiums will be full for the competition.

"As far as the men's IPL knockout stage matches are concerned, it would be held in Kolkata and Ahmedabad, with 100 per cent attendance allowed for the matches to be played after the league stage finishes on May 22," Sourav Ganguly, the BCCI president, said.

The ongoing IPL campaign has thus far been held in front of reduced capacities in four grounds: the Wankhede Stadium and Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, and the MCA Stadium in Pune.

The three-team Women's T20 Challenge will be held in Lucknow from May 24-28.
