Gleeson has never previously featured in the competition but has appeared in the Big Bash, BPL, SA20 and ILT20 as well as earning six T20I caps for England
Chennai Super Kings have signed England bowler Richard Gleeson as a replacement for Devon Conway.
The New Zealand batter has been ruled out of the remainder of the 2024 Indian Premier League due to injury.
Conway hasn't featured for CSK this season but was a standout performer during their 2023 title-winning campaign, scoring a team-leading 672 runs with a strike rate just under 140.

Though he's far from a like for like replacement, right-arm quick Gleeson could prove a valuable addition to the bowling attack given leading wicket-taker Mustafizur Rahman is only expected to be available until the beginning of May.
Gleeson, who has six T20I caps for England, has taken 101 wickets with an economy of 8.18 in 90 T20 matches across his career.
He has never previously featured in the IPL but has earned contracts in the Big Bash, Bangladesh Premier League, SA20 and ILT20.
