Sri Lanka will host Zimbabwe for a three-match ODI series in January 2022.
The three day-night matches, which form part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, will take place on January 16, 18 and 21 at Kandy’s International Cricket Stadium.
Sri Lanka are currently sixth in the 13-team Super League, with four wins and 10 defeats from their 15 matches to date.
Zimbabwe, by contrast, are bottom of the table with just two wins in nine matches.
The top eight teams will be assured of a spot at the 2023 Cricket World Cup, with India – currently fifth – qualifying automatically as hosts. The bottom five teams will progress to the 2023 Cricket World Cup qualifier.
