Ryan Campbell, who is recovering from a cardiac arrest, is expected to return to the role "later this summer"
Netherlands men will be led by Ryan Cook as the interim replacement for Ryan Campbell.
Campbell is expected to make a full recovery from suffering a cardiac arrest while in the United Kingdom.
But before being welcomed back on a full-time basis, Cook will fill the void.
"I am honoured to be joining the team and look forward to working with the players and coaches for the next few months," he said.
"There is an exciting schedule ahead and I aim to help the team from strength to strength."

The Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB) have not confirmed a timeline regarding his tenure, but Cook is set to take charge for at least the first part of the summer.
West Indies are the visitors for three ODIs on May 31, June 2 and 4 before world champions England travel for a three-match 50-over series on June 17, 19 and 22.
They then travel to Zimbabwe for the T20 World Cup global B qualifier in July to compete alongside Hong Kong, Jersey, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Uganda, United States and the hosts.
New Zealand then face the Dutch in two T20Is before Pakistan arrive for three ODIs, all in August.
Cook holds a wealth of coaching experience having worked with Hobart Hurricanes, Cricket South Africa and most recently Bangladesh, where he was the men's fielding coach for just short of three-and-a-half years.
