The pacer was punished for his reaction to dismissing Bangladesh batter Yasir Ali in the 41st over of the first innings on January 10
Kyle Jamieson has been fined 15 per cent of his match fee for using inappropriate language during the second Test between New Zealand and Bangladesh.
The fast bowler was found to have breached article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel – "using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during an international match."
The incident occurred in the 41st over of Bangladesh’s first innings on January 10. Jamieson used inappropriate language after dismissing Yasir Ali for 55.
On-field umpires Chris Gaffaney and Wayne Knights levelled the charge which Jamieson accepted.

The 27-year-old also received a demerit point on his disciplinary record, his third offence in a 24-month period. He previously received demerit points on December 28, 2020, in a Test match against Pakistan and March 23, 2021, during an ODI against Bangladesh.
New Zealand defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 117 runs on January 11, wrapping up the victory inside three days.
Jamieson finished the match with figures of 6 for 114.
