India and England's players have all returned negative results from a round of Covid-19 tests ahead of the first Test at Chennai.
Both squads have completed their period in quarantine and can begin outdoor training from Tuesday (February 2).
The first Test starts on Friday (February 5) and will be played behind closed doors at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Tickets are set to go on sale for the second Test in Chennai, with the BCCI planning to have 50 per cent of the ground's 50,000 seats filled for the Test.

Club members will also be able to attend. It could be the first match England have played in front of a crowd in any format since the tour of South Africa concluded with the third T20 in February 2020.
Plans for the remaining two Tests, scheduled to take place at the 110,000 Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad, are yet to be confirmed.
