Bangladesh host Afghanistan for a one-off Test match ahead of the three one-day internationals and two T20Is between the nations.
Taking place just days after the World Test Championship final, the clash is merely for bragging rights. The 2023/25 cycle kicks off with the Ashes between England and Australia beginning on June 16.
The first and only Test starts on Wednesday, June 14 and runs to Sunday, June 18. Taking place at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur play gets underway at 5am BST or 10am local time.
Both sides come into the one-off game having each won their last Test. Bangladesh were winners by seven wickets over Ireland as recently as April, whilst Afghanistan beat Zimbabwe by six wickets in their last Test outing way back in March 2021.

Litton Das will lead the Bangladesh side. The finger injury sustained by Shakib Al Hasan during the Ireland one-day international series in May keeps him out of the game.
Bangladesh have picked two debutants in Shahadat Hossain and Musfik Hasan. Taskin Ahmed and Zakir Hasan both missed the Ireland Test with side and thumb injuries, respectively but are back in contention.
A notable absentee from the Afghanistan squad is Rashid Khan who is being rested having spent a period out with a back issue. Abdul Malik is likely to feature in the top order alongside Ibrahim Zadran, who averages 44 in Tests, and Rahmat Shah. Furthermore, Bahir Shah, Karim Janat and Izharulhaq Naveed are all bidding to make their debuts.
