The BCB has also announced a pay rise of "around 33 per cent" for their centrally contracted female players
Jamie Siddons is set to return to the Bangladesh national team set-up after being recruited by the Bangladesh Cricket Board as a batting consultant.
The 57-year-old former Australia international previously served as the team’s head coach from 2007 to 2011 and was in charge for Bangladesh’s 4-0 ODI series win over New Zealand in 2010-11 – their first victory over a top-tier team in a full series.
It is currently unclear where Siddons, who has also served as head coach of Wellington Firebirds and South Australia, will work when he takes up his position in 2022.
Ashwell Prince is currently contracted to serve as the senior team’s batting coach until the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia.

BCB president Nazmul Hassan said: "We have appointed him as the batting consultant. It is not yet finalised in which area he will work in, whether it is the high performance, Under-19s or the senior team. We are hopeful that he will join in February 2022."
Several new appointments have also been made to the BCB’s standing committee, most notably Janal Yunus named as Akram Khan’s replacement as chairman of the cricket operations committee, while a pay rise has also been announced for Bangladesh’s centrally contracted women’s players.
The players will receive a salary increase of "around 33 per cent" in 2022 due to their good performance in Zimbabwe and their qualification for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand.
