A three-match T20I series follows an ODI series between Australia and a touring India side. The series precedes a Test series between the two nations.
Australia will be feeling confident having won the ODI series at the Sydney Cricket Ground and the Manuka Oval, posting some huge totals along the way.
India, however, will back themselves. With the talent that they have in their team, they can never be written off. Do so at your peril.
The series will visit two venues, the country’s capital and a ground where they had success in the ODI series.

Australia won the ODI series at the SCG and Canberra
As previously mentioned, Australia will be going into this series on a high following their success in the one-day matches.
It will be Australia’s first T20 series since their 2-1 defeat in England in September – so they will be looking to get back to winning ways and they will fancy themselves with two matches being held at the SCG.
Australia won a T20 series in South Africa before the pandemic struck and with their star players performing well in the recent IPL, they will be raring to go and put on a show in front of small crowds.
Steve Smith will be one to keep an eye on. He scored runs for fun in the ODI series and will be looking to continue that into these three matches. He seems to be getting better and better: India will have to be at the top of their game if they are to keep him quiet.
The Australia squad for this series is the same as the ODI series, so expect lots and lots of fireworks.
Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell are all in the top 20 of the T20 player index and will be looking to shine once again. Maxwell had an excellent time in the ODI series so expect him to excel in the upcoming matches.
Stonis scored 352 runs and took 13 wickets for Delhi Capitals as they reached the final, losing out to Mumbai Indians.

The big guns are out for India and they will be looking to right the wrongs from the ODI series and get revenge.
With the T20 World Cup in Australia pushed back to 2022, India will be keen use this series to get as much insight as possible, however focus will be shifted towards the 2021 tournament which is scheduled to take place in India.
