Several members of Afghanistan's touring party to Bangladesh, including a number of players, have tested positive for Covid-19.

The entire squad has been asked to go into isolation for 48 hours before undergoing further testing.

Afghanistan arrived in Sylhet on February 12 and have been training ahead of the series opener on February 23 in Chattogram.

Despite the tour only officially beginning on February 19, the Bangladesh Cricket Board are offering their support to Afghanistan.

After contesting an ODI on February 23, the two sides are scheduled to remain in Chattogram for two further 50-over matches on February 25 and 28. Two T20Is will then be played in Dhaka on March 3 and March 5.
