Kuldeep Yadav's impressive performances during the early stages of India's limited-overs tour of England have earned the left-arm wristspinner a place in his country's Test squad.
The tweaker, who bamboozled England's batsmen in the T20 international at Old Trafford and the ODI at Trent Bridge, has been named as part of the 18-man party for the first three matches.
Seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar is a doubt for the first Test at Edgbaston, which starts on August 1, because of a back problem.
The bowler aggravated the issue during the third one-day international at Headingley and will be monitored, according to the BCCI.
Teenage batsman Rishabh Pant is also included in the squad, alongside Karun Nair and Mohammed Shami, but there is no place for Rohit Sharma.
