Scorecard

Trinbago Knight Riders' Caribbean Premier League campaign has come to an end after Kieron Pollard's team were beaten by Guyana Amazon Warriors in a win-or-bust clash.

Set 174 for a victory that would have kept them in the competition, Trinbago subsided to be bowled out for 136 after Afghanistan opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz had racked up his second fifty in as many games following his arrival for the latter stages of the tournament.

Shakib al Hasan, the Bangladesh allrounder, is also a recent recruit by Guyana, and he took 3 for 20 after making 35 – his first runs in a Warriors shirt after successive ducks. Odean Smith smashed three late sixes in seven balls to set up a third straight win for Shimron Hetmyer's side.

Sunil Narine picked up two wickets, but Ravi Rampaul was expensive for a star-studded Knight Riders team that struggled in reply. Pollard made 13 off 16 deliveries, Andre Russell just 12 and Nicholas Pooran was run out for a single.

Samit Patel top-scored for Trinbago with 34, while Colin Munro made 30 after Tim Seifert had used up 17 balls for 13. Gudakesh Motie conceded just 16 runs from his four overs.

The result knocks Trinbago out of the tournament and consigns them to last place in this year's table despite a line-up boasting some of West Indies' greatest-ever T20 cricketers. Guyana, on the other hand, have qualified for the latter stages.
