Gloucestershire allrounder Graeme van Buuren has signed a new deal to remain at the county until the end of the 2020 season.
The South African, who joined the club in 2016, has played in all competitions this season and has agreed a 12-month extension to his current deal.
Van Buuren enjoyed his finest moment of the season in Gloucestershire’s four-wicket Royal London Cup win over eventual winners and local rivals Somerset.
He struck 61, hitting six fours and a six as he was named as man of the match in a thrilling final-over win.
Van Buuren qualifies as a non-overseas player through his wife, who holds a British passport.
He said: “I’m very excited to be with the lads for another year, I have loved it here since joining the club in 2016.
“My family and I have made lifelong friends and I can’t wait to keep that going. We are playing fantastic cricket at the moment, hopefully we can end the season with success.”
Gloucestershire head coach Richard Dawson added: “It’s great that Graeme has extended his contract with the club. He’s been an important member of the squad on and off the pitch for a number of years and we look forward to this continuing.”
