The spinner has been ruled out of Pakistan's summer tour due to an injured hip bone, the bowler is likely to be out for 10 weeks
Spinner Yasir Shah has been ruled out of Pakistan's tours of Ireland and England due to an injured hip bone.
Yasir was Pakistan's leading wicket-taker on their Test tour of England in 2016, claiming 19 scalps - including a 10-for at Lord's - as the sides drew the series 2-2.
Chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq said his absence will be a "big blow".
"Yasir is ruled out of the Ireland and England Test tours and it's a big blow.
"It's a big loss for the team."
It is reported that Shah - who has played in 28 Test matches for his country, taking 165 wickets at 29.44 - will be out for approximately 10 weeks.
Pakistan will meet Kent and Northants before facing Ireland in Dublin - Ireland Men's first ever Test match - before returning to England for two Tests against Joe Root's team.
