Northern Districts batsman hits ton before amusing dismissal

For any England fans waking up to an all-too-familiar Ashes nightmare, this BJ Watling run out may provide some light relief and remind us all that cricket is just a game.

The incident occurred in Northern Districts' game against Wellington at Whangarei in the Ford Trophy.

Watling had registered a hundred and was 115 not out when his legs failed him running a quick single.

Watling's Northern Districts team-mate Tim Southee posted footage of the incident on his Instagram account.
