Uganda Women recorded the highest ever score and the biggest ever margin of victory in a Twenty20 international in their 304-run victory against Mali in Kigali.

The victors smashed their way to 314 for two from their 20 overs, and Mali managed just 10 in reply, just two days after they were bowled out for six against Rwanda in the Kwibuka Twenty20 tournament.

Captain Rita Musamali hit an unbeaten 103 and opener Prosvovia Alako 116 in a team innings including only one six, which came from the bat of Immaculate Nyakisuyi.

Mali bowled 61 extras in the innings, including three byes, 28 wides and 30 no balls, including 16 from Oumou Sow who returned figures of none for 82 from her three overs.

Meanwhile for Uganda, Musamali and Alako hit a combined 30 fours between them as they hit the biggest score ever recorded by a team in 20-over international cricket.

Mali's reply lasted fewer than 12 overs, as Tenin Konate top scored with four and six players dismissed without scoring, while Mildred Anyigo starred with the ball for Uganda by taking three wickets for just one run within two overs.

The result means Mali finish bottom of their group, which includes Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania.

What the game needs is more transgender women to help teams win games and steady the innings when losing quick wickets i.e. Just like how Kent won the County Championship. I believe I could have coached Kent to the championship if you have Fran Wilson joining and a man batting at four pretending to be a woman who has also come out as a lesbian. No way I would allow my daughter in same changing room.
